Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA)

A biocompatible mineral of calcium and phosphate, from the same chemical family as the mineral phase of bone and tooth enamel. It is present in the formulation as smooth-surfaced microparticles.

HA(C₁₄H₂₁NO₁₁)ₙ

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

A glycosaminoglycan found naturally in connective tissue. Depending on molecular weight, it is a polysaccharide with a high water-binding capacity, able to bind many times its own weight in water. It is present as its sodium salt (sodium hyaluronate).

AAPro · Gly · Hyp

Amino Acids (AA)

Proline, glycine and hydroxyproline are the most frequently repeated amino acid triplet in the primary structure of the collagen protein. Hydroxyproline is a hydroxylated proline derivative characteristic of collagen.

PPC₆H₆N₂O

Niacinamide (PP)

The amide form of vitamin B3, also referred to in the literature as vitamin PP. A water-soluble molecule that is relatively stable to light and heat.
